Sources Sought -- RFI-AFR-20-0018 The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) by the Bureau of the Fiscal Service/Procurement Division is to identify potential small business Contractors capable of providing Elevator Renovations/Repairs on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) on the Washington, DC. campus. This includes the replacement of the existing elevators (#1-4 and #34; a total of five elevators) in the Sheridan Building, and the elevator for the Stanley Chapel which carries caskets from the basement to the main floor. (SEE THE ATTACHMENT FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS OF REQUIREMENT). No other information regarding this Request for Information (RFI) will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms responding to this notice are advised that their response is not an offer that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this notice. Please note that any subsequent solicitation will not reference this RFI. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this RFI. Telephone responses to, or inquiries about this RFI will NOT be accepted. Capable contractors shall respond to this RFI with, at a minimum: 1. CAPABILITY STATEMENT, 2. FIRM’S BUSINESS SIZE and DUNS NUMBER, and 3. CONTACT INFORMATION (name, email address, phone, website) Mandatory pre-proposal site visit details will be included in the solicitation requirements, with date and time noted therein. Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, no later than 2:00 P.M.
