This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is IRSFY24NESSUS and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03 effective February 23, 2024. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Offerors must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov). This will be made as a Firm-Fixed Price, Single Award, Purchase Order solicited under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541519, Information Technology Value Added Resellers (ITVAR), with a business size of 34 Million Dollars. FAR 52.212-1. Instruction to Offerors – Commercial Products and Commercial Services, applies to this acquisition. Additional instructions have been provided herein. The following solicitation is a Brand-Name Acquistion to procure The Nessus brand Professional software, which is necessary and currently being used to scannon-IRS computer systems for FISMA compliance. IRS PGLD Safeguards utilizes Nessus software to provide a advanced level of computer security oversight to the more than 300 state and federal agencies (i.e. stakeholders) with Federal Taxpayer Information (FTI) kept in their automated environment.
