This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE Order under FAR SubPart 13.1, Procedure, 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source. Circumstances of the contract action deem that only one source is reasonably available due to an exclusive licensing agreement. The government intends to place an open market sole source order to Escal Institute of Advanced Technologies, Inc /dba SANS Institute for smartphone forensic analysis (indepth) instructional training onsite (University of Central Florida-National Center for Forensic Science) for 24 students with a performance period of 07/17/2022 through 07/23/2022. SANS Institute has affirmed that they are the exclusive distributor of the required training and these products and services must be purchased directly through SANS as no other agents or dealers have been authorized. Responses to this notice will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability and respond to the requirement no later than 6:00 PM EST, June 08, 2022. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
