This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small business sources, (2) whether they are small businesses; HUBZone small businesses, service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses; 8(a) small businesses; veteran owned small businesses; woman-owned small businesses; or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Office of Procurement requires a subscription that provides acquisition research & support services; on-call advisory support with 2 access points and up to 63 passwords to complete the website; survey network; learning and network opportunities; templates; checklists; daily electronic updated acquisition; electronic catalog of community events and library of reports, laws, policies, protest and regulations. GENERAL INFORMATION This is a Request for Information (RFI) to obtain market information and capabilities for planning purposes. Companies that respond will not be paid for the information submitted. This RFI is for informational planning purposes only and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any actual procurement of materials or services. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or a promise of a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any proprietary information or trade secrets contained within their response. The Government will not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly marked and clearly identified. Proprietary information received in response to this RFI will be safeguarded and handled in accordance with applicable Government regulations. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The IRS will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Period of performance is April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022. Note: The Government is not required to provide feedback to RFI respondents.
