In addition, the requirement is updated to notify all interested vendors that a "sample of the box" shall be submitted to the IRS customer for inspection to ensure the box meets all the specification found in both the RFQ document and the attached question and answer document. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 5000194700-24-BXS is issued as request for quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 dated 4/22/2024. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 322211 - Corrugated and Solid Fiber Box Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1250 employees. IRS has a requirement for the purchase of 21,400 die-cut 1040 Pop-Up Boxes. The dimensions of the boxes are 12.25L x9.25W x12H. Pictures of the boxes are attached for reference. FOB Destination pricing is required. Delivery of the boxes shall be accomplished as follows: *One-half of the boxes shall be delivered the third week of August 2024 (10,700 boxes) *One-half of the boxes shall be delivered the third week of September 2024 (10,700 boxes) The delivery address is IRS Warehouse, 2021 East Woodward Street, Austin, TX 78741 Questions shall be received no later than July 25, 2024 at 4:00 pm ET. No questions will be accepted or answered via telephone. Price quotes shall include all the mandatory clauses, provisions and requirements information identified in the attached RFQ document. Price quotes shall be submitted no later than July 31, 2024 at 12:00 pm ET. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products as defined herein. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein.
