Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Digitalization Transformation (DT) Energy Security PMO Support The IRS has an urgent need for contractor support services required for development and implementation of an Energy Security Program that have Filing Season (2023) impacts. An enterprise-wide solution is planned to support the complex administration, eligibility determination, tracking, reconciliation, and distribution of approximately 15 energy credits. Initial support was required in advance of initial production deployment by 1 March 2023 in order to meet legislative mandates. The attached justification for an exception to fair opportunity provides details regarding the urgent need for contractor support services required in order meet the Inflation Reduction Act I(RA) Energy Security Subtitle D activities.
