The Contractor shall provide the additional SYMANTEC software licenses support to the IRS Enterprise Operations; ISD division at both Enterprise Computing Centers (ECC) located in Memphis, TN and Martinsburg, WV. The IRS has been using SYMANTEC since 2015 and is to continue using their software (SW) in FY22. The Government currently uses SYMANTEC SW products IRS wide primarily for workstation patch management. The IRS has deployed Symantec IT Management Platform (SMP) version 7.1(and above) agents to approximately 125,000 Windows workstations and Servers within the Enterprise environment. The current SMP infrastructure is a hierarchy comprised of a parent server and six child servers. The IRS needs a contractor to provide the SYMANTEC software licenses with version upgrades to the IRS’ workstations for patching, software distribution and windows deployment.
