In addition, the response date/time to submit quotes has been extended to June 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm CST. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Midstates Procurement Branch, has a requirement for the purchase and installation of a complete physical security equipment (Electronic Access Control System, Video Surveillance System & Intrusion Detection System) at its site located at 4300 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, IA 50266. The primary objective of the new system is real-time monitoring and archiving of video to deter and detect potential threats to the facility. The Contractor will be responsible for all ancillary installation and configuration associated with this requirement. The Contractor shall complete the installation, including testing and acceptance within ninety (90) days. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 13.105 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. A written solicitation is attached. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561621. The small business size standard is $22M. The Contractor is required to register with the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov. No contract award shall be made to any contractor that is not registered the System for Award Management. A site visit will be held on May 19, 2022. Contractors interested in attending the site visit must contact LaShonda Martin, email: lashonda.r.martin@irs.gov, three (3) days prior to coordinate the site visit and provide names of attendee(s). Interested Contractors will have to bear the cost of the site visit.
