The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Operations Branch Southern Region Midstates Section intends to issue on a sole source basis a purchase order to CCH Inc, P.O. BOX 4307, Carol Stream, IL 60197-4307 for publications used for research by IRS Chief counsel. The Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualification to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 10:00 AM (CST) on March 17, 2020. All inquiries and concerns shall be addressed in writing to Contract Specialist Yvette Terrell, at yvette.a.terrell@irs.gov. Any such statement of capabilities and qualification received by the deadline will be evaluated solely or the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
