This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR Part 15, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation (paper copy) will not be issued. This is a Request for Proposal to provide Disposal Services of Expired Hand Sanitizers at mulitple IRS offices in the United States. Please read the attached solicitation document for the requirement information. This procurement is a full and open competition in accordance with the procedures under FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 15. Interested offerors are requested to submit proposal and other required documents in accordance with section (5) of the addendum to provision FAR 52.212-1 as attached. The IRS intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, offerors's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary. Proposals are required to be submitted electronically via email to Lori.Carpenter@irs.gov by 5:00 P.M., EST, on 07/10/2023. Quotations submitted through phone calls, fax, or mail will not be accepted or considered.
