Amendment 001: Extends the response date to 1/12/2021 at 10:00 am CST; provides questions and answers to theRFQ; and provides Past Performance Questionnaire. IRS Procurement, Office of Business Solutions Acquisition (OBSA), Southern Region - Midstates Section, has a requirement for a contractor to provide first class mail services whereby the contractor collects outgoing mail from the IRS National Distribution Center location for presorting, marking and posting from the contractor's facility. Service requirements include mail presort services and Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMb) markings on mail that complies with United States Postal Service (USPS) presort and barcode marking requirements. The estimated period of performance for this requirement includes a twelve-month (12) base period and four (4) one-year options, commencing March 1, 2021 through February 28, 2022. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR 13.105 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. A written solicitation is attached. This requirement is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561499. The small business size standard is $15M. Contractor must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) system and maintain an active record status in order to be eligible to receive award of a resultant contract.
