Letters and phone calls will not be accepted and will be considered non-responsive to this announcement. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Digital Intelligence Inc. located at: 17165 West Glendale Drive, New Berlin, WI 53151 for purchasing three (3) Decryptum Devices for the IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) agents. The purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000. The three (3) Decryptum devices are designed by Passware Inc. and sold exclusively by Digital Intelligence Inc. The devices’ configurations have been carefully designed and specified so each Decyrptum Unit is compatible with IRS-CI existing equipment. Due to the uniqueness of this requirement, no other contractors/vendors equipment and supplies will satisfy the IRS-CI requirements.
