This is a Request for Information for an upcoming solicitation, set to be released within the next two (2) weeks. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify if Small Businesses are capable of performing the requirement, described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Houseing and Urban Development (HUD OIG) is an independent government entity established to prevent waste, fraud, and abuse within HUD and its programs. HUD OIG staff are located in Washington, DC and in Field Offices around the Country and its Territories. The HUD OIG Office of Investigations (OI) has a requirement for a medical contractor to provide medical services and drug testing for applicants and incumbent special agents (incumbents) across the United States, Guam, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. The Contractor shall be required to evaluate applicants and student trainees to determine if they meet the HUD OIG medical qualification standards. The Contractor shall also conduct mandatory annual medical screenings of incumbents to determine if they continue to meet the HUD OIG medical qualification standards, and other requirements as stated in the PWS. Small Business vendors who are capable of performing the requirement are encouraged to send an email to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov with the subject line: "ATTN: SDaggett/TAshcroft: HUDOIG Medical & Drug Testing" by April 8, 2021 at 10:00 am EST. Vendors who wish to be notified upon the posting of the solicitation shall indicate main points of contact as well as email and business size under NAICS 621111. No further details about this requirement shall be released until solicitation 20342821C00002 has been published on beta.sam.gov.
