Pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B): The Department of Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Facilities Management Operations Division (FMOD), has made an award to Potomac Electric Power Company (PEPCO) at 701 9th Street NW Washington, DC 20001 for a fixed-price type delivery order of continued electric service for 60 months consisting of a 12-month Base Period and four (4) 12-month Option Year Periods totaling $1,436,664.13. This delivery order is placed against PEPCO’s GSA Area-wide Utility contract 47PA0420D0064 as required by Federal Agency when there is an area-wide contract for such utility service designated. This award was preceded by TFSAFSA17K0006 to PEPCO against GSA Areawide Utility contract GS-00P-10-BSD-0725. PEPCO is the only provider of electric service for the Washington DC area and specifically the Bureau of Fiscal Service Liberty Center Building located at 401 14th Street SW Washington, DC 20227. This award is considered in the Government’s best interest of economy and efficiency and is authorized. This posting satisfies the posting requirement stated in FAR Subpart 8.405-6(a)(2)(i)(B)(1) and (3).
