The Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement that is looking to provide statistical products that safely allows researchers to perform statistical analysis using administrative tax data while protecting the confidentiality of taxpayer information. It will develop a framework to produce synthetic public-use files on individual information derived from tax returns, and third party. For information purposes, the services described shall be in accordance with the Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Performance Work Statement entitled, Production of New Synthetic Public Use Files & Production of the Validation Methodology. The Request for Information (RFI) will be available on April 16, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the MAS Schedule (Professional Services – Technical and Engineering Services (non-IT) under NAICS 541720 – Research Analysis and Developmental Services in the Social Sciences and Humanities. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through Kenya.L.Bracey@irs.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring that site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date of the RFI will be on April 28, 2024, at 5:00PM EST. All responsible sources are required to provide a response to the questions within the attachment as well as submit a capability statement.
