The Internal Revenue Services (IRS), in support of the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO), is seeking a contractor to administer the IRS’s Childcare Subsidy Program to include all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, services and processes to manage and administer the child care providers covered by the IRS CCSP. This program is authorized by Public Law 107-67 which permits federal agencies to assist their lower income employees with the costs of childcare. The CCSP provides subsidies for child care services provided by licensed or accredited child care providers and can reduce the amount of childcare expenses parents pay by providing subsidies directly to childcare providers. The program is designed to encourage eligible employees and their families to use quality child care services by offsetting a portion of their costs. The IRS requires a contractor with the ability to receive a specified sum of money and distribute it to childcare providers as a subsidy. The program benefits employees by subsidizing Child Care providers to reduce the financial pressure on employees with a Total Family Income (TFI) of $90,000 or less each year by providing subsidies directly to the child care provider.
