AMENDMENT 00002 to RFQ 2032H322Q00058 (8/16/2022) The below provides an additional question received and due to its’ content, the government felt it reasonable that it should be addressed under this notice. Based on the timing of this notification, the government will not only address the late question but also extend the RFQ closing date, as follows: 1. Question (paraphrased for clarity): With regard to the circumstances of the overage being paid by a third party …in this case Mr. Mnuchin…the RFQ is not transparent as there is no mention of how this payment is to be billed and by whom within the RFQ terms and conditions. What would be our guarantee that the 3rd party will pay the overage…which in this case is quite substantial. Government Response: Within three business days after award, the contractor will make arrangements for payment terms directly with the 3rd party representative. Therefore, the customer will provide a focal point-of-contact to the contractor in order to expedite this process at time of contract award. Until such agreement has been reached, no performance shall take place or costs incurred resulting from award of this procurement. 2. Ref. Para 6.6.6 Questions. The question period has closed. Therefore, no additional questions shall be considered in reference to this RFQ notice. 3. Ref. Para 6.6.7 Proposal/Quote: The proposal/quote due date has been extended from “3:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) Wednesday, August 17, 2022,” to, “3:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) Friday, August 19, 2022. If a contractor has already submitted its’ quote, please review and determine if any parts of it need to be revised and resubmitted based upon this Amendment and the changes to the terms and conditions, herein. 4. Please review Attachment 1 to Amendment 0002 for the conformed RFQ, as revised with the updated terms and conditions resulting from this notice. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
