The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)< Office of Quality Operations (OQO) seeks to improve its existing capabilities with new epoxy stub grinding and polishing equipment that meet or exceed the specified requirements. The grinding and polishing equipment will be used to prepare epoxy stubs used to mount materials used in currency production for cross-sectioning and imaging with high-powered microscopes. The Contractor shall provide the BEP DCF with grinding and polishing equipment to be used for epoxy stubs that is new and shall include at a minimum all sub-systems and major components listed in the technical requirements below. Under this requirement, the contractor shall provide the delivery, installation, acceptance, associated deliverables, and training of the requirement herein. No prototypes, refurbished, one-of-a-kind, or two-of-a-kind systems will be considered. The system must include the latest and current version of operating and data analysis software. Quotation shall be submitted to Naweed.Nezam@bep.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Thursday, 15 May 2025.
