This notification is being posted for information purposes only. This procurement action is for the acquisition of the chemical / solvent as described below: BEP Item #OIL1100 - ISOSOLV LOW VOC WIPE The above product is developed and produced by ECOLINK Inc. and own the rights to this solvent. The solvent is used by Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) on its Currency Overprinting Processing Equipment (COPE) Press equipment. The product allows BEP to meet the lower Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) requirements of the District of Columbia while offering the best performance on the COPE Press Equipment without impacting banknote quality and safety of BEP employees. The BEP intends to sole-source this requirement and award to ECOLINK Inc. The applicable North American Classification Code (NAICS) is 325199, All Other Basic Organic Chemical Manufacturing. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. If you feel your firm can provide the required solvent described above, please submit a capability statement by 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 27 May 2025. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the descretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantagous to the Government.
