Notice of Intent and Justification to Award Sole Source – The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) on behalf of the Western Currency Facility (WCF) intends to award a Sole Source Single-Award Firm-Fixed Price Contract for the repair of the regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) media bed at the WCF. The intended contractor is Anguil Environmental Systems, Inc. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As evidenced in the sole source justification provided by the requiring activity there is only one contractor that has the specific qualifications that meet the peculiar requirements of this contract. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
