The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP), Western Currency Facility (WCF) Contracting Branch, Services Division is issuing this Solicitation for the acquisition of Security Equipment Operation and Maintenance Services at the WCF in Fort Worth, TX. This requirement is a 100% total set aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS 561621 Security Systems Services size standard is $25.0 Million, and PSC N063 Installation of Equipment - Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems. Please Note: In order to be eligible for award, the business must be registered as a Small Business under the appropriate NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.SAM.gov. Please verify that both your Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), DUNS #, Cage Code are current and valid in the System for Award Management (SAM). This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price, services contract for the everyday operations and maintenance of the security equipment and Integrated Security System (ISS) components/subcomponents at the Western Currency Facility, which is a 24-hour facility. The type of security equipment includes cameras, card readers, locks, safes, alarms and systems, x-ray machines, metal detectors, etc. The scope of this requirement also includes the repair and replacement of damaged or outdated security equipment and components (materials, parts, equipment). This action involves 24-hour preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance - which can be scheduled or unscheduled. The scope of this requirement also covers secondary services such as locksmithing, video monitoring, retrieval, and duplication services. This acquisition includes a Base Year plus Four Option Periods (Year, 12 month period), not to exceed a period of performance of 5 years. The anticipated Period of Performance (inclusive of options) is May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2029. Offerors are strogly encouraged to review the attached Request for Proposals (RFP) and associated documents thoroughly and in entirety, as criteria stated in the solicitation shall govern. Please note that Service Contract Labor Standards (FAR 52.222-41) and Fair Labor Standards Act (FAR 52.222-43) clauses apply to this acuisition; therefore, the latest Wage Determination has been attached. Pre-Proposal Site Visit The BEP WCF, Physical Security Branch is hosting a Pre-Proposal Site Visit during the solicitation phase to allow offerors to obtain a better understanding of site conditions and the work required, as well as gather quality information about the solicitation and familiarize offerors with the procuring agency. The Site Visit is scheduled at 8:00am CST, Monday, March 18, 2024 at 9000 Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend. All interested offerors attending this site visit will need to forward PII information of each attendee, including full name (as it appears on identification), date of birth, place of birth, phone number, email address, and company information no later than 3:00pm CST, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 to TERRY.LAWRENCE@bep.gov.
