Preventative Maintenance and Calibration Service is to be conducted annually to ensure the reliability and reproducibility of results when performing BEP’s Office of Quality Operations’ Paper Lab Twin Fold Tester’s Instruments. Under the proposed contract the Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, facilities, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, labor, transportation, supervision and any other items and services necessary to perform the required services for the BEP’s Twin Fold Tester’s Instruments. These elements will be performed in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, commercial practice, and manufacturer’s specifications as described in the Performance Work Statement. Emphasis should be placed on safety and customer services, as defined in the Performance Work Statement, except for those items specified as government furnished property and information. The contractor shall perform to the standards articulated in this contract. If the Twin Fold Tester’s Instruments experiences operational failure the contractor shall provide the labor and replacement parts for all mechanical and electrical machine and controller components needed during the on-site visit for problem resolution. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance inspections and annual calibration and certification on the instrument to ensure the Twin Fold Tester’s Instruments is fully capable of performing operational tasks as originally designed.
