The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Research Analysis Division/Office of Technology Development (OTD), District Currency Facility (DCF) is a component of the Department of the Treasury. In support of these operations at BEP’s DCF, the BEP has a need for a research grade magnetic imager. OTD seeks to acquire a research grade magnetic imager to analyze magnetic inks, paper, finished currency, and similar materials. The magnetic imager will be utilized to fully characterize materials and includes the ability to perform non-destructive hard and soft magnetic measurements. See attached RFQ for more details.
