The technical program team is aware of the discontinued item and are researching suitable replacements. 5/11/2023 - Addendum 1.1 - This Solicitation has been updated: "Attachment A. 55222AD_REV A 50-STACK AND RACK CART with Component Drawings" has been removed. "Attachment AA. 55222AD_REV B 50-STACK AND RACK CART with Component Drawings" has been added. The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) has issued this solicitation for the following requirement: Fabrication and Manufacturing of Stack & Rack Carts and Hoods Quantity: 225 Carts and 225 Hoods As part of the Federal Reserve printing and delivery process, Stack and Rack Carts (also referred to as Carts) are used for separating wet work during the drying process after Intaglio printing. These carts are specific to press size and include several accessories including metal rods and security hoods. The Contractor shall fabricate and deliver Carts and security hoods that are compliant with the specified requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW), Technical Requirements Data Sheet (TRDS) and drawings. Finished equipment shall be delivered to the Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Ft. Worth, TX. The applicable North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999, All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing, and the applicable PSC is 9999, Miscellaneous Items. Interested parties shall be registered under the NAICS code on SAM at www.SAM.gov, prior to submitting their quotes. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Electronic procedures will be used for the Solicitation. BEP intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) negotiated contract on or about 23 June 2023. All responsible, small business sources may submit a quote in response to this Solicitation, which shall be considered by the agency. No telephone requests will be honored, and no hard copies will be mailed out. All Quotes and Offers shall be submitted to Terry.Lawrence@bep.gov and Daryl.Stewart@bep.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT June 7, 2023.
