This combined synopsis/solicitation has been revised and closing date extended per the attached Amendment #3 and associated revised documents. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. Currency banknotes and other U.S. security products. Manufacturing occurs at two locations: Washington, DC Currency Facility (DCF) and Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, TX. BEP’s primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). The BEP has a requirement to establish a single-award Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV)/ Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for sheets of currency strap bands and bundle bands suitable for wrapping and containing Federal Reserve Notes (FRN) printed at the BEP, for use in automated processing on COPE machines at the BEP Washington, DC and Fort Worth, TX facilities.
