To add FAR Clause 52.216-2 Economic Price Adjustment-Standard Supplies Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number and a statement that the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) number is 2031ZA22Q00129. The solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2022-04 / effective date of 31 January 2022. This solicitation is set-aside for small-business 100% under the associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 424720 Petroleum and Petroleum Products Merchant Wholesalers (except Bulk Stations and Terminals) and the size standard is 200 Employees. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. This acquisition is conducted using FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) at the Western Currency Facility (WCF) has a need for up to 10,000 gallons of Red Dyed #2 Diesel Fuel with a premium diesel fuel additive at the Western Currency Facility. This diesel fuel will be used in our two, 10,000 gallon above ground storage tanks. The fuel is used for emergency generators, diesel fire pump and boilers. The contractor will provide 10,000 gallons of Red dyed #2 diesel fuel containing no more than 0.3% sulfur by weight, must be first run refinery grade and shall not consist of blend containing waste oils or solvents. Must contain a Premium Diesel Fuel Additive with Fuel Stabilizer, Emulsifier, Lubricity Additive, and concentrated Cetane Improver with a mix ratio of 1:3000. The fuel delivery trucks must be capable of delivering fuel into two, 10,000 gallon above ground storage tanks.
