The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is an agency within the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints United States currency and other security products. Currency manufacturing occurs at the BEP facilities located in Washington, DC (DCF) and in Fort Worth, TX, (WCF). BEP’s primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). The Engraving section in the Office of Engraving requires a new Intaglio Laser Engraving Machine to engrave the intaglio design and plate layout features directly into a metal plate. See attached solicitation for additional details.
