This is a Request for Information (RFI) (hereinafter Notice). This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, request for bids or quotations, nor, a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes only. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has interest in, and is seeking sources capable of providing of Brand Name or Equal WelloStationX Kiosk at facilities in Washington D.C. and Fort Worth, Texas. The required self-serve touchless kiosks must use electronic clinical thermometers with medical-grade far-infrared sensors. Salient characteristics include: Power Input: 100-240VAC Operating Temperature: 59F -82.4F Bio-medical sensor accuracy (+/-0.2 degrees Celsius or 0.36F) Ability to secure the kiosk to the floor WIFI or LAN connectivity Approximately 400 people scans per hour Security assessment availability Embedded calibration sensors; no calibration required within the lifetime of the system Units must provide verification that personnel have submitted to screening and the result(s) of temperature screening to show meets or exceeds temperature threshold. Further, the Government may contact the vendor for additional information regarding the information submitted as part of this market research effort. Any organization responding to this Notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed. Information provided will be used to assess tradeoffs and alternatives available for the potential requirement and may lead to the development of a solicitation.
