This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for a Contractor to supply Nickel S-Pellets & S-Rounds suitable to facilitate the manufacture of U.S currency. The electrolytic Nickel S-Pellets & S-Rounds are used directly in the making of currency plates that are used for printing of the BEP’s currency, which must function flawlessly in commerce. The contractor shall provide all the items either BRAND NAME or EQUAL as described in Attachment A, Statement of Need - PB: RB-6. Performance shall be in accordance with the IDIQ and any issued calls. The minimum dollar amount for this requirement is $100,000.00.
