All of the upgrades outlined... **This is a Request for Information** This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes and may or may not result with the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). All of the upgrades outlined in this document may or may not be pursued by the BEP. This request for information does not commit the BEP to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. The BEP will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the OEM’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the www.beta.sam.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The BEP is interested in a package of lighting based upgrades for Currency Inspection System (CIS) #1 in DCF and CIS #31 in WCF. These OEM (Mühlbauer Group) upgrades will improve banknote inspection, maintenance access, and will provide additional feature inspection capability for future generations of United States banknote designs.
