The BEP is seeking sources that can provide a direct to metal laser engraving solution to assist with the origination and manufacturing of intaglio printing plates at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s Washington D.C. location (DCF). The Office of Engraving, Engraving Branch intends to replace its laser engraving machine, which is used to create a steel-backed polymer master plate. This notice is hereby extended until 13 March 2020.
