The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), a bureau of the Department of the Treasury, intends to issue a sole source contract utilizing FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedure for Certain Commercial Items, to William S. Hein & Co., Inc., 2350 North Forest Road, Getzville, NY 14068. The contract will renew the OCC's existing subscription. The William S. Hein & Co. provides a subscription to its Hein Online that provides more than 207 million pages of multidisciplinary periodicals containing law journals, essential historical documents, government documents, international legal materials, state and local content, and more, in a searchable database. The initial period of performance for this requirement is October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024, with four one-year option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quote; a solicitation document will not be issued. All information received by requested date with pricing and sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet the requirement will be considered by the OCC. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the OCC. Information received will be considered primarily for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
