The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) hereby gives notice of intent to award a contract to Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA), Carr. Picacho Ajusco 238, Oficina 601, Mexico City, Mexico 14210 on a sole source basis utilizing FAR PART 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This requirement is for the annual Association of Supervisors of Banks of the Americas (ASBA) Membership. ASBA consist of bank supervisors and regulatory institutions from 34 countries throughout the Americas (North, South, Central America, the Caribbean, and Spain, including the U.S. - FRB, FDIC and OCC). ASBA's objectives are to develop, disseminate, and promote banking supervisory practices throughout the Americas in line with international standards and to support the development of banking supervision expertise through training and technical cooperation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Period of Performance: May 15, 2020 through December 31, 2020. Association of Supervisors of Bank of the Americas (ASBA) is the sole source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, firms that believe they can provide a service that fully meets the Government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within five (5) calendar days after publication of this notice. Such documentation will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a competitive basis, based upon the responses to this notice, is solely within the descretion of the Government. Oral communication are not acceptable in response to this notice.
