The United States Mint is embarking on a Request for Information (RFI), to engage expert consulting and other vendors on how to best achieve the results the agency is looking to obtain from conducting an operational review of its entire directorate. The Sales and Marketing Directorate (SaM) is comprised of three (3) divisions, including Administration, Sales, and Marketing. Additionally, the organization also has an Associate Director’s Office, who is charged with overseeing and providing strategic leadership and guidance for SaM. The United States Mint’s SaM Directorate seeks to improve productivity by streamlining business processes and improve the business work culture by developing and implementing a business improvement plan. The objective of this project is to have a third-party consultant conduct an operational review of the entire SaM Directorate with an assessment report of SaM’s current state of its business operations, to include a listing of clear recommended objectives to meet the desired future state. The selected vendor will be required to work with SaM’s three (3) divisions (Administration, Sales, and Marketing) to collect information required to execute this project. The scope of this contract is to conduct an operational review, with keen focus placed on operations management, portfolio management, program management, project management, financial management, technology management integration management, human resource management, culture transformation, change management and governance management.
