The Internal Revenue Services (IRS) would like to thank the businesses that responded to the Diversity RFI posted on June 15, 2022. In accordance with Executive Order 13985, titled “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government,” the IRS is committed to conducting outreach to diverse businesses. The responses received are a valuable resource in helping to address diversity issues in contracting. As a result of this outreach effort, the bureau received 107 responses from a variety of diverse businesses. Information received will be used for our ongoing market research efforts, and to obtain a better understanding of the businesses that are interested in providing goods and services to the IRS. Specifically, the responses will afford the bureau an opportunity to analyze data, address barriers to entry, challenges, and concerns regarding the federal contracting process.
