The National Park Service (NPS) is soliciting for applications to provide Guided Hiking, Guided Fishing Instruction, Guided Backpacking, Guided Photography Instruction (workshop), Guided Mountaineering, Guided Backcountry Ski Mountaineering, Guided Nordic Activities (snowshoeing/skiing), Guided Portering (dunnage/gear transport), and Guided Pack and Saddle (stock), visitor services through the issuance of Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA) within wilderness throughout Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The NPS will authorized for a limited number of CUAs for a two-year period, January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025. The NPS issued this solicitation beginning August 31, 2021. The CUA application package is available on the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks website identified below. Complete applications for a CUA to operate in wilderness within Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on August 31, 2023. Application submissions will be accepted by emailing seki_cua@nps.gov or U.S. mail addressed to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, Commercial Services Office, 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers, CA 93271.
