This Amendment No. 1 is issued to provide further instructions for attending the Open House for the Lake McDonald Properties Historic Leasing RFQ at Glacier National Park on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Access to the Going-to-the-Sun Road (GTSR) is subject to a reservation system intended to reduce congestion in the GTSR corridor. Park access for parties attending the Open House or visiting on their own are subject to the same fees, vehicle reservation requirements, and restrictions as any park visitor. Please read the amendment carefully to ensure that you are able to enter the park to see the properties on your own or for this event. The National Park Service (NPS) announced a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking responses from educational institutions, government agencies or entities, and other non-profit organizations, interested in the preservation and re-use of one or more historic buildings at Glacier National Park (GNP or RFQ Area) through a lease with the National Park Service on June 2, 2022. The offered properties include Greve’s Tourist Camp, consisting of the main cabin/house and three guest cabins and the Fox-Henderson Cabin. Copies of the RFQ and Amendment No. 1 are available for downloading from this notice. Open House. The open house will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time.
