On February 10, 2021, a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) will be issued by the National Park Service (NPS). The RFEI allows interested parties to submit their concept(s) of potential future adaptive use of the Staples House (2100sq/ft), the Wright House (1440 sq/ft) and/or the Hayhurst House (1700 sq/ft), considering the park’s purpose. The houses were originally constructed between 1872 and 1873 and have become part of the historic village landscape. The facilities are managed as part of Herbert Hoover National Historic Site in the historic downtown area of West Branch, Iowa. Additional information on the facilities, park, and process are available in the RFEI.
