JOFOC - Notice of intent to sole source for 6 month extension - Program and Science Support Services The Bureau of Reclamation, Acquisition Management Division intends to make a sole source award to Western Ecosystem Technology, Inc by extending the current contract R16PX00956 by six months utilizing the exercise of Option Clause 52.217-8, which was included as an unpriced option in the contract R16PX00956. This Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition supports a procurement action to be conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.501 and 6.302-1. The current contractor, Western Ecosystem Technology, Inc. is providing services through the current contract R16PX00956 which expires on September 29, 2021. The Government¿s requirement for these services has not changed and a follow-on contract will be issued; however, the Government requires extension of the option clause to provide adequate time to prepare and compete the next contract. Due to the unpriced nature of the extension, the Government has prepared this justification to document the needs for the extension to maximize competition on the next action as well as to provide adequate notice to potential offerors.
