The National Park Service (NPS) has issued Amendment No. 4 to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for award of a lease for the Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina located on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This Lease opportunity provides a prospective operator with a chance to deliver a high-quality, full-service marina experience to its guests in a truly one-of-a-kind location. Facilities and services at Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina include boat moorage, boat rentals, marina services, land/water-based fuel sales, lodging, food and beverage operations, retail sales, a trailer village, and Recreational Vehicle (RV) sites. This Amendment No. 4 publishes two corrections, as follows: The number of covered and uncovered slips in the marina has been corrected (see page 8 of the RFP). Amendment No. 2, Question 5 has been corrected. All other requirements of the RFP remain the same. The RFP is available on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area webpage under "Get Involved" and "Do Business with Us" (link provided below). The NPS is only accepting electronic submissions in response to the RFP; therefore, all proposals must be submitted electronically following the instructions in the RFP, and only if an intent to submit a proposal notification was previously received by the NPS by August 9. Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on September 20, 2022. Interested parties should notify Kristen Jontos, Commercial Services Specialist, National Park Service, Interior Regions 8, 9, 10, and 12 via email at kristen_jontos@nps.gov if you have received a copy of the RFP and want to be notified of future modifications or other correspondence.
