SOURCES SOUGHT:GRAND CANYON NP (GRCA):This primary purpose of this project is to replace the failing foundation of a historic wood framed structure originally constructed in 1916 with an addition constructed in 1923. Excavation around the building is required to facilitate the building lifting operations. It is intended that the building will be temporarily held in place while existing foundations are removed and new foundations, consisting of continuous concrete footings/masonry stem walls around the perimeter and concrete pad/wood posts in the interior, are installed. Additional project scope includes replacing the cedar shingle roof, improving site drainage, providing ADA van parking, and ADA concrete walkway.
