The National Park Service, National Capital Area, requires supplemental snow removal services on the traveled lanes of traffic and ramps of the following parkways: Suitland Parkway, Baltimore-Washington Parkway (B-W Parkway), George Washington Memorial Parkway (GW Parkway) and Clara Barton Parkway. Maps shall be provided to indicate specific plowing locations and mobilization points. Snow removal shall be coordinated as an hourly rate for all personnel, equipment and materials required to meet road conditions as set forth by the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC) Severe Weather Coordination Working Group. Services shall include assisting in-place NPS personnel and equipment in curb-to-curb snow removal (plowing) and de-icing (as needed) of all traveled lanes of traffic, shoulders, and ramps. The National Park Service will provide salt for de-icing.
