National Park Service (NPS) is seeking to hire a qualified contractor (Contractor) to remove non-native invasive vines and woody plants and then plant native shrubs and trees along the Boundary Channel. The Contractor shall identify and remove non-native invasive plants per this Statement of Work (SOW) through chemical or mechanical methods for approximately 4.74 acres (3.97 acres base contract and 0.77 acres Area VA-4). After invasive plant removal work is completed, the Contractor will plant 168 native shrubs and trees (122 shrubs/trees base contract and 46 shrubs/trees Area VA-4). Restoration of this area shall be done in accordance with the appropriate cultural landscape and historic district requirements through coordination with GWMP.
