The National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office, intends to issue a sole source award to Computer Information Systems, Inc. (CIS) for computer aided dispatch software support, maintenance, and warranty. The software is proprietary to CIS and no other known entity can provide maintenance and support. The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541511 with a Small Business Size Standard of $30.0 million. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice; however any firm that believes they have capabilities to provide this service item may give written notification to the Contracting Officer at darcy_skinner@nps.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
