REPLACEMENT CAT DOZER TRACKS The National Park Service, Denali National Park, intends to issue a sole source award to NC Machinery for replacement tracks for a 1989 Caterpillar D7 bulldozer. Pursuant to FAR 13.106, NC Machinery is the only known source for Caterpillar dozer tracks and rollers in Alaska. Only Caterpillar tracks and rollers are compatible with the bulldozer. The resultant award is anticipated to be a firm fixed price award. This will be a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR 13. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333120 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1250 employees. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice; however any firm that believes they have capabilities to provide these supplies item may give written notification to the Contracting Officer at darcy_skinner@nps.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination to compete this proposed order based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
