The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), California State Office (CASO), is seeking information about small business sources for the acquisition of one Low Ground Pressure (LGP) Dozer with Two Attachments, John Deere 550k or equal. This notice is NOT a request for quotes, or a solicitation. Any quotes received in response to this notice will not be accepted as official quote nor will the BLM reimburse contractors for any costs associated with responding to this notice. Based upon response to this announcement, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside or proceed with an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333924 and the related small business size standard is 750 employees. This notice is not a request for quote and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Land Management in any manner. Delivery location: BLM-CA Palm Springs- South Coast Field Office, 1201 Bird Center Drive, Palm Springs CA Desired delivery terms: FOB Destination 90 Days from Issuance of Purchase Order Interested parties should include the following information in their response: (a) Business name, address, phone number, UEI, size classification based on NAICS size standard, socioeconomic classification (i.e. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZone, 8(a), etc.), and a point of contact. (b) A positive statement of your intention to submit a quote for the upcoming solicitation; (c) Informal quote and/or dollar value estimate for proposed equipment (to include two attachments and delivery cost) (d) Information regarding availability (in stock etc.) and delivery terms (i.e. 180 days from receipt of purchase order) of the Brand Name or equal equipment. All interested parties are encouraged to respond to this notice, by e-mail to ecelik@blm.gov no later than close of business (1700 PST) on 1/11/2023. The information provided in this announcement is all information the Government has available at this time. System for Award Management (SAM) applies to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov SALIENT CHARECTERISTICS: 1. Engine Output - At least 90 HP and not more than 99 HP 2. Transmission - Must be Hydrostatic 3. Unit needs to be fitted with LGP (Low Ground Pressure) Tracks. 4. Height - Not to exceed a Max (9 ft 2 in) 5. Mounted Fire Extinguisher inside of operators' cab. 6. Fuel Tank, Must meet or exceed (52) gallons. 7. Speed - Forward Maximum(mph) (5) Speed ; Reverse Maximum (mph) (5) 8. Fuel Type: Diesel 9. Must meet Tier 4 Final Air Quality Standards. 10. Severe-Duty Fuel Filter 11. Reversing hydraulic-powered fan to clean cooler cores (automatic and on demand capable) 12. Air Intake Pre-cleaner 13. Unit must come with front Power angle tilt blade and rear rippers installed on it. 2. Front Blade - Width to be at least (8ft 9in) and not to exceed (9ft 7in) 3. Front Blade - Dig Depth, 20.6 In. Blade ; Tilt (1 ft 2 in) 4. Front Blade - Height must be a minimum of 3 ft but not more than 3 ft 2 in. 5. A detachable front blade heavy duty root rake with brush guard. 6. Rear rippers need to be a multi-shank parallelogram type with 5 pockets and 3 shanks.
