This posting serves as notification of the government¿s intent to issue a sole source purchase order. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho State Office intends to award a sole source purchase order to Catalyst Communications Technologies, Inc. for Dispatch Radio Console Upgrade and all associated licensing, software, and controllers for the Idaho Falls Interagency Dispatch Center. The Idaho BLM and partnering governmental agencies (PGA) require secure, dependable communications at all times. Continuity of operations is dependent on system availability as well as maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the network. Confidentiality, integrity and availability all work together to provide a highly resilient and always available solution. There are many considerations for maximizing radio communication availability to BLM personnel and our PGAs. Nevada, California and Arizona BLM offices currently use dispatch consoles manufactured by Catalyst Communication Technologies. This notice of intent is not a request for quote.
