This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8.405-6(a)(1)(c), logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule delivery order, to supply and install systems furniture and 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. The BLM Utah State Office intends to award a sole source GSA Delivery Order to Mid West Commercial Interiors Services for labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete/supplement the systems furniture currently in place in the BLM Vernal Office. A GSA delivery order was previously executed with Mid West Commercial Interiors to design, provide and install systems furniture in the location located in Vernal, Utah (Uintah County). A follow up delivery order is required to complete the project, systems furniture components and installation. In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original order which was placed in accordance with the applicable FSS ordering procedures (not a sole-source or limited-source procedure). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 5:00 P.M. Mountain Time (MT) on December 2, 2019, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
