N--Request for Information/Sources Sought Synopsis for Market Research Purposes On
The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking market research for replacing water-cooled chillers with air-cooled units at the Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The estimated budget for this construction project is between $750,000 and $1.5 million. The new system must include two air-cooled chillers with remote evaporators, each providing 160-180 tons of cooling capacity, and must not require draining chilled water lines for winterization. Interested parties are responsible for the entire design, construction, and commissioning, and must include capabilities in refrigeration and chilled water systems. This is a Request for Information only, not a solicitation, and responses are voluntary for planning purposes.
