The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting market research to identify capable Small Businesses for the potential repair and re-integration of a high-accuracy FOG-INS for an L3Harris Iver3 autonomous underwater vehicle. The work involves replacing or repairing the unit to meet strict performance specifications, followed by bench testing, in-water testing, and full integration with the AUV, including providing documentation of successful field performance. A minimum 12-month warranty on all parts is required. This is a sources sought notice only, and there is no formal solicitation at this time. The government will use the responses to determine whether to set aside the potential requirement for small businesses or pursue full and open competition.
